Peer Review Process

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system (OJS). The manuscript must follow the journal’s Author Guidelines and include complete metadata.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial team performs an initial screening to evaluate:

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

  • Compliance with formatting guidelines

  • Originality and plagiarism screening

  • Basic quality of the manuscript

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction before the review process begins.

3. Assignment to Section Editor

After passing the initial screening, the manuscript is assigned to a Section Editor who will manage the review process.

4. Double-Blind Peer Review

The Section Editor assigns the manuscript to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Originality and novelty of the research

  • Methodological rigor

  • Clarity of analysis and discussion

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Contribution to the field

5. Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers provide comments and recommendations to the editor. The possible decisions include:

  • Accept without revisions

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Accept with major revisions

  • Reject

6. Author Revision

If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors for improvement based on the reviewers’ comments. Authors must submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers.

7. Final Editorial Decision

The editor evaluates the revised manuscript and reviewer feedback to make the final decision regarding publication.

8. Copyediting and Layout Editing

Accepted manuscripts undergo:

  • Language editing

  • Formatting and layout preparation

  • Final proofreading

9. Publication

The final article is published online in the journal’s current issue and becomes freely accessible under the open access policy.
